Movie Summary:

Set in Prague, 1968, Waves is a gripping spy thriller that follows Tomáš, who works with the International Editorial Office of Czechoslovak Radio during a time of political upheaval. As the editors of the radio are targeted by the Secret Services, Tomáš must protect his revolutionary younger brother. With Prague Spring unfolding, the radio broadcasts a secret record that could change everything.

Waves is the Czech entry for the Foreign Film category at the 2025 Oscars.
