The World Affairs Council of Orange County (WACOC) is thrilled to present this year’s Academic WorldQuest (AWQ) program, a prestigious nationwide competition that tests students’ knowledge of international affairs. Academic WorldQuest provides students with a curated list of global topics to study and challenges them to demonstrate their understanding through friendly competition. This program is an exceptional opportunity for students to expand their global knowledge, develop critical thinking skills, and connect with peers who share an interest in world affairs.

There is both a local and national competition for students to participate in. The winners of the local competition will go on to represent our county at the national competition in Washington D.C. Transportation and lodging expenses for the Washington D.C competition will be covered by the World Affairs Council of Orange County. This year’s local competition will take place at Chapman University, on March 15th.
