The World Affairs Council of OC has secured private access to a series of behind-the-scenes tours for WAC-OC members only of critical energy and infrastructure facilities that we all use on a regular basis and take for granted in terms of their significance and economic impact on our daily lives. These energy and infrastructure tours represent a mix of specific sectors that provide key opportunities to bridge the knowledge gap most individuals have regarding these multi-billion-dollar organizations.
The Port of Los Angeles is exclusively offering members of the World Affairs Council of OC a private San Pedro/LA harbor boat tour providing a front-row seat to the “Industrial Theatre” of America’s busiest container port and its current role in global trade. The tour boat will showcase massive international cargo ships, 200 ft tall towering cranes unloading massive containers, a unique waterfront view of the Vincent Thomas Bridge, the Angels Gate Lighthouse, and busy ship traffic working the San Pedro Bay.
